Fleeter Log #141
Old Truck Graveyard

342 miles
Jerry, a friend from Texas, passed through Fredericksburg on the way home from touring the New England states. This morning when he was ready to head south, I was there riding along with him for the day. I rode with him as far as Lexington, Virginia before I turned back toward Fredericksburg.
Somewhere between Appomattox Courthouse and Richmond, I came across this collection of trucks soaking in the evening sun.

I see my RT through the truck window waiting for me. Time to saddle up and head back home.

I could spend a lot of time there. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great find!
ReplyDeleteWish we'd have passed it on the way out. I'd have loved that. That ol' boy is sitting on some money there.
ReplyDeleteI would have loved to join you in that truck boneyard. Recently I observed some old trucks at the Murdo SD museum just off Exit 192...stop in there if you ever get out there.
