#13 Snow in Fredericksburg

Fleeter Log #13
Snow in Fredericksburg, Virginia

2005 December 5-6
Disclosure: Technically this isn't a true Fleeter Log since nobody was Fleetering anywhere, but we'll stick with the format and provide full disclosure that Fleeter was safe in the motorcycle garage.

City Docks on the Rappahannock River. This is late in the afternoon ... just as the rain began to turn to snow.

Flat Hannah has gone home and now we have Flat Jennifer visiting. She was sent by Cousin Victoria from Athens, Texas. Flat Jennifer and I stopped to do some shopping in Old Downtown Fredericksburg.
You can see the snow was beginning to stick as we left Downtown Fredericksburg.
By the time we drove across town to the mega-retail area, we had a good blanket of snow.
On our way home, we stopped at the grocery store. It was really coming down when we came back outside!
The next morning we couldn't wait to get outside. Here's a picture looking down the street in front of the house as the sun came up.
Here's the sun peeking around the back of the house.
The snow is too early for Christmas, but it's still a nice change.
